We are currently working with a successful architectural practice who has a new Associate Director job based in its West Sussex office. Offering excellent progression and additional benefits this a unique role that would suit a motivated and ambitious Architect with management experience.

Our client is an established multi-sector architectural practice with two offices based in Crawley and London . They have a growing portfolio of projects including residential, healthcare, hospitality, commercial and education.

With continued success in winning architectural projects, our client is now looking to make a new strategic appointment of an Associate Director in its Architectural team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for and lead multiple projects
  • Develop design drawings, documents, and delegate and manage the internal team
  • Managing teams
  • Working directly as point of contact for clients
  • Responsibility in the running of the practice including involvement at board level
  • Working on the development of new business opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Part III qualified with a minimum of 5 years UK experience
  • ARB Registered
  • Experience in running UK based projects ideally across multiple project sectors
  • Strong client-facing skills with ability to help generate new business
  • Experience in the management of team or business
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp with experience in REVIT being an advantage, as well a good working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.
  • This role is based in the West Sussex office.
