Role Overview
I am representing a leading global Real Estate firm, with an established and growing team of project managers, specialising in the fit-out and refurbishment of office and mixed-use buildings in Central London.
The successful candidate will receive the support of an elite and experienced team of approximately 20 PM's, that aspire to develop and expand their client profile and already outstanding reputation in the market place
The role will involve working within the Central London Commercial sector and the company are fortunate to have a wide range of investor, developer and occupier clients; working on tier-one commercial projects in Central London.
They work with both landlord and tenants on a range of projects between approximately 5,000 to 150,000 sq ft. Typical projects are between 20,000 and 80,000 sq ft.
You will be working from their high spec Central London offices, along with time on site and client meeting, primarily in Central London with the occasional requirement in surrounding counties.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Oversee the delivery of fit-out and refurbishment projects at a strategic level to manage the professional team ensuring the client's brief is delivered and that time, quality and cost parameters are met within this remit.
- Source and secure new clients and support the junior members of the team in doing this.
- Attend industry events and activities as a representative of the company, BPC and London office PM team to build profile and personal network.
- Help the team with strategic growth, be a role model and provide mentorship for junior members of the team.
- Demonstrate ability to lead client pitches and presentations.
- Effective client interaction with excellent lines of communication; work to identify client needs; delivery upon commitments to clients; provide bespoke advice.
- Engage in business development strategies to ensure fee generation and client delivery.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- They should possess excellent people skills and have the ability and desire to forge strong relationships with peers and clients.
- They should be a team player who is willing to support their colleagues, step in to deal with any issues that arise and contribute towards achieving team goals.
- Clear understanding of the fundamentals of the London office sector.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Proven track record of revenue generation.
- Highly motivated, proactive and a 'can-do' attitude.
Technical Experience
- Attained a vocational degree qualification which is MRICS qualified or equivalent.
- Other project management, engineering, design or cost management qualifications will also be considered.
- Ability to support lead PMs from inception to completion whilst working across multiple projects.
- People management and leadership experience.
