is looking to welcome you, an Associate Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer to join their expert team in Richmond, London.

Responsibilities:
As an Associate Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer, you will take on some project ownership for technical deliverables produced by yourself and more junior engineers. Your role will involve:

  • Undertake CDM and Principal Designer duties for preliminary to detailed drainage and SuDS schemes on behalf of Local Authority clients, including TfL.
  • Project management of projects allocated to your team.
  • Client account management and liaison with existing client base.


Requirements:
The following outlines an ideal candidate for the role, but please do not hesitate to apply if you are interested but do not meet all requirements.

  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Able to integrate into a team and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Able to support the technical development of junior colleagues
  • Able to deliver and technically review drainage projects at each design stage
  • Experience in the design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
  • Strong CAD skills
  • Experience with InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow or similar software


The following attributes are desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in flood risk management
  • Experience using Civil 3D
  • Experience with GIS software
  • Foul Water design
  • Hydraulic Modelling
  • Experience within a council
