About the role:

You will be helping to develop the supply chain function in China and the APAC region, managing business relationships with third parties while ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory and policy requirements as well as compliance.

Main responsibilities & duties:

  • Responsible for the management of the monthly and annual S&OP process
  • Managing the import process, documentation of high value shipments into the region, working with the shipper and the consignee
  • Working with the Global Serialisation Team to establish a robust system for requesting and distributing serial numbers
  • Monitoring of targets for Forecast Error (actual vs budget, actual vs rolling forecast etc.), measuring KPIs (OTIF, delivery processing time, invoicing processing time etc.)
  • Ensuring integrity of metrics to drive value to customer
  • Enabling process & system enhancements
  • Boosting the development of key market revenue opportunities
  • Work as a co-ordinator between the Fulfilment team and the Logistics team to ensure the orders are delivered 100% OTIF
  • Managing assigned SC projects including new process, report/KPI dashboard structure, ERP
  • Forecasting/demand planning for global demand
  • Ensuring the forecast is communicated to the production team to make sure that production plan can be achieved
  • Analysing the demand shifting pattern and other available data analysis to ensure the forecast is an accurate reflection of the market demand
  • Provide early warning to the internal colleagues

What we are looking for:

In order to be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience of importation, serialisation and demand planning.

Candidates who have at least 4 years' experience in supply chain are likely to have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to successfully undertake this role.

You will also need to have:

  • Degree level qualification
  • Excellent computing skills: Microsoft Excel and Power point at high standard
  • Experience working within the life science Supply Chain - S&OP
  • Demand planning experience in the region including China
  • Knowledge of serialisation for pharmaceutical products
  • Experience of importing pharmaceutical products from the EU into the APAC region
  • Excellent data management skills
  • Hands on experience with supply chain management software, ideally SAP
  • Strong networking, planning and organisational skills with a demonstrated capability to manage complex projects with short timeline
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English
