The role:
As Associate Vice President of Global Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the commercial evolution of Pharmanovia's portfolio across all therapeutic areas. This role demands an experienced and accomplished leader who can manage, inspire and develop a large team of marketers - executional excellence is a must. You will also need to be a visionary leader who can identify risks and opportunities for pipeline, and synergies of those assets within the future portfolio.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver on the global P&L for key brands across therapy areas. You will lead a large diverse team of experienced and senior marketers. Your scope will include development, implementation, budget management and tracking of brand plans and programs in priority markets globally. You will also be responsible for optimising the development and planning process of our promotional strategies and programs in order to increase efficiencies, innovation and quality.
You will also drive the vision and roadmap for the commercial integration of Pharmanovia's pipeline into the future product portfolio. You will develop the commercial opportunity and risk profile for each pipeline project. Furthermore, you will build the strategy related to how these assets will strengthen the evolution of the future portfolio. You must be a strategic leader who understands how to systematically analyse early stage projects and is also a visionary with demonstrated ability to develop and articulate a clear roadmap of future opportunities.

Reporting directly to the Chief Brand Officer, you will be a member of the Strategic Marketing business area.
This position can be based in in a hybrid setup anywhere in Europe - preference for Copenhagen, Denmark, or the United Kingdom.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Lead a large team of marketers in development and execution of global marketing strategies and promotional programs for key brand across all therapeutic areas.
- Manage and deliver on brand level P&L's, ensuring successful product launches, annual promotional program rollouts, lifecycle management, and commercial input to pipeline development.
- Drive commercial assessments of future pipeline assets and fit with global strategy, including assessment of Pharmanovia capabilities and synergies with current value chain and portfolio in relation to new potential target assets.
- Drive integration of new product acquisitions and pre-launch planning and execution of future launches.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of franchise managers and directors, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Provide dedicated coaching and development to brand managers.
- Provide visionary leadership to drive growth and maximize success in current and future disease areas, including strategic markets.
- Analyse market trends and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and risks to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry codes of practice, and company policies and procedures.
- Foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient groups, advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate regularly with senior management and board of directors, providing updates on marketing progress and escalating issues and concerns as appropriate.
- Develop and implement a strong brand strategy, including positioning, messaging, and creative execution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical affairs, and market access, to ensure alignment and optimise product success.
- Drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in marketing, positioning the company as a leader in the industry.
To thrive and succeed in this role you will need:
- Master's degree in business, life sciences, marketing, economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in global marketing, with a track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies for therapeutic franchises.
- Experience leading large, global marketing teams and fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks and develop effective strategies.
- Strong business acumen, including understanding of P&L, pipeline development, lifecycle management, and product launches.
- Proven track record of driving growth and maximizing success in current and future disease areas, including strategic markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience working with regulatory agencies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and market insights.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
