The Associated Builders and Contractors has analyzed U.S. Census Bureau data. According to the analysis the spending on national nonresidential construction was declined by 0.3% in March 2019. The private nonresidential construction was increased by 0.5% in March and up 2.1% on a year-over-year basis whereas the public nonresidential spending fell 1.3% but is up 9% for the year. The seasonally adjusted, annualized basis nonresidential spending totaled $775.2 billion for the month.
