We have a new opportunity for a Management Systems Auditor to join our team of remotely based auditors, who oversee the auditing of our 270 sites for Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality. Reporting to the IMS Audit Manager, you will ensure compliance with recognised standards, through the completion of assessments and routine audits, observing the Integrated Management System audit plan. This is a key role for an experienced auditor with detailed knowledge of ISO standards to progress their career to the next level. About the role You will perform audits of our operating units in accordance with the integrated management system audit plan. Working with your team, you will contribute to the audit programme and the operational activity linked to the Integrated Management system. This role will involve extensive UK wide travel. Provide advice and support to Management in business operations and promote the sharing of best practice to support successful implementation, operation and ongoing development of the integrated management system. Key Responsibilities include: Audit our sites / locations / departments and job roles to the required standards and procedures, raise non-conformances where appropriate, create action plans, and provide feedback Collaborating with business divisions regarding standard compliance, providing advice and assistance Preparation of the analysis of company performance against audits Clear & concise audit report writing (through dedicated software), follow up of corrective actions and audit close out Audit schedule preparation and management across business operations to cover the audit frequency as defined by business or Management system requirements Review non-conformance trends and update audit schedules where trends identify shortcomings What will you bring? A background in auditing or a relevant auditor qualification is essential Some operational experience from within the Construction industry is desirable Ability to build and sustain strong relationships across teams and all levels of the organisation Specific Knowledge Required with ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001/ISO45001 Knowledge of ISO44001 is desirable Use of KMI is desirable however training will be provided Strong written communication with experience in report writing and technical documents Be able to respond to changes in business structure and/or business requirements What’s on offer?
