As an Automation Engineer you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions within state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy automation systems that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across production processes.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement automation systems to streamline manufacturing processes and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automation solutions into new and existing production lines, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability.
Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and robotic equipment to meet project requirements and performance standards.
Optimize control algorithms and parameters to enhance system performance, accuracy, and reliability.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation engineering to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in designing, programming, and implementing automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), HMI/SCADA development, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus).
Hands-on experience with robotics, motion control systems, and servo drives is highly desirable.
Familiarity with software tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or Python for data analysis and algorithm development.
