Protocol are partnered with a large West Midlands based College to recruit a basic ICT Skills Tutor. Situated in the heart of the West Midlands, this establishment is one of the largest further education providers in its county, offering a wide range of vocational and academic courses. Together we are hoping to bolster their ICT department by appointing a basic ICT Tutor to deliver basic ICT Skills to mature learners, topics will consist of how to compose an email, how to set up a laptop, basic Microsoft Skills to equip learners with an array of new technical skills.
Role responsibilities
Planning and delivering basic ICT courses to adult learners
Teaching 10 hours per week
Motivating students to excel in their subject area
Adhering to Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity policies
The person & qualifications
Hold a teaching qualification
Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area
Working ICT knowledge
Hold a DBS certificate
Ideal teaching experience with adult learners
