Finance Administrator Required

Job Type: Temp - 6 months initially

Start date: Immediate/Notice period

Location: Newcastle

Salary: Up to £30 per hour depending on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting opportunity for a benefits assessor in Newcastle. Our client is looking for an experienced, fast paced, and hardworking assessors to join their team, with an immediate start. This role is is initially a 6 month temp role, with view to extend.

Working hours

Monday to Friday

8am - 5pm flexi

37.5 hours a week

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake a range of routines to maintain and update all Council Tax and National Non Domestic Rates
  • Undertake interviews, inspections, court attendance, home visits and attend events as required
  • Provide Billing, Collection and Enforcement in respect of all debts administered by the Revenues and Benefit Services
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the Revenues and Benefits Service by adherence to key metrics and KPI's to deliver excellent customer service
  • Undertake an effective recovery and enforcement service for all debts

Requirements for the role

  • Previous experience
  • Reliable
  • Organised
  • Required to concentrate for long periods of time when producing reports.
  • Analyse information and be able to make recommendations for efficiency's and service improvements.
  • Supervision and support will be provided by the Performance Manager.
