The team and the region:
This is a hugely important and integral role, supporting the bid management team within the Strategic Frameworks and Alliances division of Kier Group. This is a high performing team which bids, wins and supports the delivery of exciting new hospitals and healthcare projects all over the country.
Key responsibilities:
- To support the Senior Bid Manager and Framework Managers
- Provide bid support to create, write and develop interesting and successful expressions of interest, interview presentations and supporting documentation
- Liaise with regional businesses to collate information and intelligence
- Produce marketing literature such as case studies, sub-sector brochures etc.
- As a business support, provide healthcare specialist knowledge to the wider business
- Ensure information is accurate and up to date
- Maintain and develop our customer relationship management tool for healthcare projects, liaising with the regional businesses as necessary
- Intranet and extranet working experience to maintain our public facing profile and keep our network of dedicated healthcare professionals and teams informed
Knowledge, experience and skills:
- Essential to have Desktop publishing package experience particularly Adobe Elements, InDesign
- Essential to have good IT skills in Microsoft office especially PowerPoint.
- Desirable to have some knowledge of the UK Health Market and construction industry
- Communication skills - written, verbal and presentational
- Excellent attention to detail and a self-starter
- Ability to work well in a team to demanding deadlines producing high quality documents
- Willing to go the extra mile, working individually as well as with the team to exceed our business objectives
