To help realise our growth ambitions Kier Places are seeking a Bid Manager to join our national bid team. As a business, we have set ourselves challenging work winning targets and the successful candidates will be critical to achieving our success. Key Responsibilities

As our Bid Manager, we will look to you to contribute to the planned and sustained business growth of Kier Places through the production of client bespoke SQs/ITTs producing winning bid proposals; be responsible for preparing successful SQs/ITTs, taking ownership of the end to end bid process and implementation of all necessary bid procedures and processes; and be responsible for managing and writing bids concurrently, and therefore will need to be proactive and organised and work well under a time constrained environment with multiple stakeholders.

The Bid Manager will work closely with the Operations Team and functional specialists to develop new content, and the successful candidate will be working on local bids and strategic national opportunities. This will require you to attend Bid Handover meetings, brief delivery teams effectively; support teams to prepare for site visits and interviews; lead bid team at internal adjudication; chair Kick off meetings, solution development and mid bid meetings with internal stakeholders; and manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, ensuring they are fully briefed and understand their responsibilities and the timescales.


What do we need from you?

The ideal candidates will be used to working to demanding deadlines, and be resilient, strong team players with excellent communication skills. You will have an outstanding demonstrable track record in delivering first class proposals which exceed client requirements, within the Facilities Management industry. Knowledge & experience regarding compliance with the Competition Act of 1998 is highly desirable.
