Location: Flexible
Contract: Permanent - full time, flexible hours available
Responsibilities
As a Bid Writer, you will support bidding excellence on a wide range of frameworks and projects across multiple sectors. You will be responsible for understanding tender documents and Client requirements, developing win themes and answer plans, engaging expert contributors, articulating Client-focussed solutions, and Kier added value.
Developing and producing high quality written submissions across our construction business, you will work closely with our regional bid teams in response to client specific needs. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Input to bid win strategies
- Lead storyboarding and win theme planning
- Develop comprehensive answer plans
- Write responses with input from subject matter experts
- Support evidence capture including site visits
- Research industry initiatives and Government policy
- Contribute to our bid library and thought leadership pieces
- Write and red review quality bids
- Input to business-wide bidding best practice
- A proven track record of writing high quality construction sector bids
- A strong understanding of design and construction process is preferred
- A wide range of bid winning and writing skills
- Evidence of developing high quality responses that reflect Client-specific needs
- Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to communicate with senior people / teams
