Introduction:
The team in Aylesford is looking for a skilled Bid Writer to be the go-to for professionally written proposal content. Projects will vary from education to commercial, and you will ideally have a background within main contractor construction. In this role, you will report to the Bid Manager and work within a large, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on and co-ordinate input and responses for pre-qualification questionnaires
- Lead storyboard sessions with wider bid team members to develop coherent and tailored responses
- Proactively develop and manage a network of subject matter experts
- Identify and re-work existing pre-written content in line with specific questions and bespoke to individual client requirements
- Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, operations, commercial, legal, customer, HR and finance
- Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Bid Manager against agreed deadlines
- Ideally educated to degree level or with equal relevant work experience
- Writing/bid management experience essential
- Possess advanced MS Word skills, proficiency in MS Office and ideally hold an APMP Foundation accreditation
