We're, looking for a Bid Writer to join our Infrastructure major projects at a flexible location with the home office being Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire. With this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesaved scheme, family friendly policies and even more.


Location: Flexible, nearest office Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire
Contract: Full time, permanent (Monday to Friday) - able to consider agile working

Job Responsibilities

As a Bid Writer, you'll be working within the Submissions Team, supporting them in creating overall compelling and engaging high scoring submissions.

Your day to day will include:

  • You'll write technical and non-technical quality bid responses for Kier Infrastructure tenders, pre-qualifications and general bid submissions.
  • You'll also work closely with our Bid Management team and Business Development to assess and prepare bid plans and bid process including reviews, and with preconstruction departments to ensure a collective approach to final submissions.


Who are we looking for?

This role of Bid Writer is great for you if:

  • You are a degree educated or equivalent individual who is confident and enthusiastic about work winning success.
  • Previous bidding experience is essential with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • You'll have proficient IT skills using Microsoft and Adobe Software and be a strong communicator, both verbal and written.
  • You'll also have an ability to influence and persuade others and have strong attention to detail.
