Position: BIM Engineers all levels
Salary: NEG. D.O.E
Location: Nationwide
Elk are seeking BIM Engineers for numerous roles we currently have open for a number of top tier and Specialist Sub Contractor clients in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have 2 years + experience in BIM.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with project team to ensure 3D models are generated at various project stages.
- Generating full 4D and 5D model
- Working with planners to generate 4D construction sequences and with the commercial team to add cost information, base lining the programme
- Using the model to lead design reviews on live projects
- Liaising with subcontractors to source and incorporate supply chain models
- Co-ordinating with project team
Education & Experience
- Third Level Degree in a construction related field
- Previous experience as a BIM Engineer circa 2-5+ years
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in BIM/Revit modelling essential, ideally in a contracting environment;
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team essential
- Proven ability to problem-solve and resolve coordination issues;
- Excellent IT skills - AutoCAD, Solidworks, Revit, MS Excel
- Experience with Primavera P6 Or MS Project an advantage.
