Position: BIM Engineer

Location: Monaghan

An Established Construction Market Leader in Co. Monaghan are recruiting for the position of Senior BIM Engineer due to their continued growth and present expansion. Due to their success and reputation, they have worked on some of the largest and most prestigious construction projects. This role will suit an individual with 2 years + experience in BIM.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The role will involve:

The BIM Engineer is required to be able to create 3D models from construction plans & sketches and working on active construction projects to generate models and related content at various stages of construction.

Working closely with project team to ensure 3D models are generated at various project stages.
Working with planners to generate 4D construction sequences and with the commercial team to add cost information, base lining the programme
Using the model to lead design reviews on live projects
Liaising with subcontractors to source and incorporate supply chain models

Education & Experience

Third Level Degree in a construction related field

Previous experience as a BIM Engineer circa 2-5+ years

Minimum of 2+ years' experience in BIM/Revit modelling essential, ideally in a contracting environment;

  • Experience in M&E services coordination essential;
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team essential;
  • Proven ability to problem solve and resolve coordination issues;
  • Excellent IT skills - AutoCAD, Solidworks, Revit, MS Excel

Experience with Primavera P6 Or MS Project an advantage.
