We have been instructed to recruit for a freelance BIM technician to work with a tier 1 contractor for the next 6 months. You will be supporting work in the water, buildings, and process sectors, however they operate a flexible team structure, so there will be opportunities to work in other sectors too. This is being managed by an established top tier contractor who spans multiple sectors including rail, power, water, building and natural resources.

To be Successful in this role as the BIM technician, it will be desired that you have the experience in the following;

  • Knowledge of Revit and CAD 2d & 3d.
  • Basic knowledge of BIM 360 Glue & Navisworks
  • Understanding of BIM standard and processes (BS 1192 & PAS 1192)
  • Clash detection
  • Knowledge of working within a CDE(Common data Environment)
  • Detailing and scheduling of bar reinforcement for RC elements using CADS RC
  • 4d programming & co-ordination software
