BMS Engineer - Data Centre Project

Clear. are seeking a talented BMS Engineer to play a key role in delivering a state-of-the-art data centre in Frankfurt. In this position, you will take ownership of designing, programming, and commissioning advanced automation solutions, integrating BMS, PLC, and SCADA systems to ensure exceptional reliability, efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control system solutions for mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Configure and program BMS (Building Management Systems) for environmental control and energy efficiency.
  • Develop PLC logic to manage automation, process control, and safety systems.
  • Configure and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, alarm management, and data analytics.
  • Perform on-site testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure smooth integration.
  • Produce technical documentation including system specifications, drawings, and user manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

    • Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience with BMS, PLC, and SCADA programming, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, instrumentation, and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, etc.).
  • Previous project experience in data centres, critical environments, or industrial automation.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation such as P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Willingness to be based on-site in Frankfurt and travel for project requirements when necessary.
