Protocol are currently recruiting for a Brickwork Assessor to join a college that offers excellent success and progression rates based in Wiltshire on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an exciting time to join the college due to the current works that the college has recently undergone. You will be assessing in their new purpose-built construction centre, which offers excellent facilities for the students.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

*Deliver high quality teaching and learning by providing students with a planned
learning experience, managing the learning process, guiding and supporting students.
*Acting as personal tutor to a group of students and provide character building
pastoral care.

*Provide assignment and assessment material appropriate to each specific programme.
*Produce schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with current best practice
*Be committed to the personal development of their students on an individual basis,
focusing on the development of character as well as their subject knowledge
development

Ideal Candidate

*Teaching qualification at Level 5 e.g. Certificate in Education, or commitment to
gaining
*Relevant Bricklaying Qualification L3 or above e.g. City & Guilds/NVQ
*Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) or commitment to gain within 24 months of
employment
*experience of teaching, training peers or transferring skills to others, e.g.
training, coaching, mentoring
*Knowledge of NOCN/Cskills qualifications and apprenticeship programmes
*Ability to understand and motivate students

It is also essential that you have the ability to initiate curriculum development and have a keen interest in the use and development of e-learning. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to organise own workload.
