Bridge Inspection Manager

Contract: Full time, part time and flexible

Responsibilities
As Bridge Inspection Manager you'll be working within the team, supporting them in developing, delivering and managing the bridge inspection programmes in accordance with CS 450 - Inspection of Highway Structures.
Your day to day will include:
- Developing and managing progress of the principal, general, special and asbestos management inspection programmes
- Request quotations and raise task orders for specialist inspection and site investigation sub-contractors appointed to carry out principal inspections and inspections for assessment
- Liaise with the assessment team to ensure defects/structures are appropriately analysed and investigated
This role of Bridge Inspection Manager is great for you if you can:
- Show experience or a degree in civil engineering
- Demonstrate knowledge of highway structures inspections in accordance with BD 63/07 and CS 450, along with structures asset management (including design and assessment) and understand the relevant highway standards and documents related to bridges/structures
- Take project ownership for delegated duties and provide mentoring skills
