Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full time
Responsibilities
As Bridge Inspector, you'll be working within the Bridges and Structures team, supporting them in understanding the asset condition, identifying safety issues and meeting KPIs by ensuring every highway structure is inspected in accordance with the Contract requirements and to national standards.
Your day to day will include:
- Undertaking general and principal inspections on site in accordance with National Highways and Kier standards
- Producing inspection reports in accordance with statutory regulations
- Managing abnormal loads as part of a team
This role of Bridge Inspector is great for you if you can:
- Show experience in a bridge maintenance environment
- Produce a full driving licence
- Use Microsoft Excel to create reports and input inspection findings onto bridge management software
