Key Responsibilities
As Building Services Manager, you will provide building services expertise to the wider business across projects timelines from tender, preconstruction, to delivery and commissioning stages. You will act as in house expert, supporting delivery teams in managing specialist external sub-contractors to deliver against standards on our projects. You will provide management of the commissioning process and compliance of Record information.
Duties and responsibilities within the role will include but not be limited to:
- Assisting with the selection?of sub-contractors to tender from the supply chain
- Assist in Design Management for MEP Packages
- Assist with commercial reviews of MEP packages
- Review Technical Submittals from subcontractors
- Co-ordination of MEP Services on sites in conjunction with project teams
- Checking Installation Quality
- Collate the team's Project reports and provide a summary report to the Technical Director relating to the projects that your team has supervised.
- Commissioning Management and sign off
- Liaison with client TA's and engineering staff
- Responsible for the commissioning management process of and compliance of as built and maintenance manuals
What do we need from you?
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP Design and Installations
- Experience working within a main contracting environment, managing specialist sub contract partners.
- Delivery of large Building Services packages valued £5M +
