Job Title: Building Surveyor
Location: Speke, Liverpool - This is an agile role where you will be based out of Liverpool area, with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites
Business Area: Kier Construction - Design and Business Services
Contract: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Join this thriving Design & Business Services team as a Building Surveyor and you'll shape innovative, inspired solutions for public and private sector clients. Working collaboratively and engagingly with colleagues in many disciplines, you'll do more than 'just' deliver on the technical and financial dimensions of the project - you'll be at the heart of realising the full value to clients, through effective contract administration and efficient programme management.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the local Team Lead, you will be assisting in delivering Building Surveying commissions and projects, requiring effective technical & financial project delivery. We will ask you to be accountable for quality, effective, successful delivery, as well as meeting financial & client objectives.
Continually improving what we do and how we do it through expert advice and guidance, as well as helping prepare bid submissions and presentation materials to maximise business development opportunities, you'll work with customers in different sectors, producing building specifications and 2D CAD drawings, delivering exceptional results and nurturing strong relationships.
What do we need from you?
We're looking for someone who is of a relevant degree-level qualification, an Associate Member of RICS or an equivalent professional body, with similar experience to this role & business area, ideally with clients in both public & private sectors. You should have demonstrable evidence of building relationships & experience of understanding Health & Safety, Quality Management, and CDM regulations.
