Building Surveyor Job in Cardiff, Wales
New requirement for a Chartered Building Surveyor job with a leading multidisciplinary architectural design practice, working from their office in Cardiff, Wales, on a hybrid basis.
This Architectural practice employs over 330 people across 10 regional offices. Due to a sustained increase in workload, they are now looking for a Chartered building Surveyor to join their Cardiff office. The successful candidate will play an integral part in helping with new projects in the Education, Defence, Healthcare, Student living and public sector projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Leading on project-based work, including the design, project management and contract administration of refurbishment projects
- Managing projects of up to £2M under NEC and JCT contracts
- Working across multiple sectors including Healthcare, Education, Student living and Public sector projects
- Providing a range of professional services, including condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid project experience, with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Word (Revit is desirable)
- 2-3 years post qualification experience (ideally Chartered or working towards chartership).
