You will as the principle Building control Surveyor be working for a local government department, giving you and ideal opportunity to enhance your career and CV
Job Role
You will be responsible for the preparation of annual services improvement programmes for electrical and other services, and formulate budget estimates and draft specifications for proposed work.
You will oversee tenant and resident liaison during any new installation and upgrading work ensuring that both tenants and other residents and contractors are fully aware of the implications of the work.
You will provide technical advise on all aspects of electrical services requested by other sections of the department and other departments.
You will ensure that appropriate certificating and documentation is obtained for all works carried out
Person
You will have significant experience of electrical services at surveying level and have relevant experience within the construction industry.
You will have a relevant qualifications with a minimum Level 4 ONC
You must have City and Guilds electrical inspection and testing 2391 or equivalent.
You must have skill level 2 in English and Maths
You must have knowledge and understanding of statutory/compliance requirements and certification in respect of electrical and other building services.
