Job Title: Bus Shunter
Location: Sheffield S2
Contract: Ongoing / temp-to-perm
Pay Rate: £14.40ph (PAYE) paid in rate

We are currently seeking a Bus Shunter to work at a depot in Sheffield (S2). This is a great opportunity for reliable and responsible individuals with the right qualifications for long term evening shift work.

Job Details:

  • Start Date: Circa 3rd November 2025

  • Working Hours: 6:00 PM - 1:30 AM

  • Days: 5-6 days out of 7, on a rotating schedule (may include a weekend day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Moving buses safely within the depot

  • Manuever and reverse buses into bays

  • Refuelling buses

  • Rubbish removal from vehicles

  • Light cleaning duties

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Driving Licence, ideally with Category D or entitlement

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

  • Experience driving larger vehicles

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
