We're looking for a Business Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract basis to join our HR Shared Service Centre on an exciting new project.

Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire with flexible/hybrid working
Contract: Fixed Term with minimum duration of 6 months with the option of extension (depending on project timelines). Also, able to consider part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

In this Business Analyst role, you will prepare business documentation i.e. process maps and requirements documents to highlight change activities across the project lifecycle. Working closely with key stakeholders, you'll identify business, functional and non-functional requirements ensuring relevant approval has been obtained and use standard methodologies. You'll also analyse and review requirements working collaboratively with Kier IT and wider stakeholders to identify solutions that align to our Service Portfolio and collate and interpret diverse inputs to understand the product vision.

You may be asked to undertake other activities associated within this role, which are not included in the above description, but are within your capabilities and the broader remit of the position.

Who are we looking for?

A business-focused, service-driven individual with previous experience within requirements gathering and business process mapping. You'll have good knowledge of formal analysis techniques such as RUP and UML, and an understanding of applying various Business Analysis tools and techniques to deliver results. Previous experience using a range of business applications such as ERP systems and workflow tools is beneficial and familiarity with operating in a high transactional volume environment. You'll also have experience of providing pre and post-implementation support and hands-on experience of process design and familiarity with tools such as webMethods and/or TIBCO is desirable.
