Business Development Coordinator Job in Manhattan, NY

New requirement for a Business Development Coordinator job with a leading multidisciplinary design firm with headquarters in Manhattan, New York. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience in a similar role from an architectural, design, or engineering practice. The position offers a starting salary of up to $75,000 plus hybrid working and a range of benefits.

Established over 30 years ago, our client now has around 300 members of staff working from several offices across the US and Europe. This award-winning practice is well known and frequently recognized for its high-end projects, particularly within the hospitality sector that are located across the globe.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support with responses to proposals and requests for qualifications
  • Assist in the development of client presentations and pitches
  • Liaise with new and existing clients alongside the wider department
  • Industry-focused research and target-market mapping
  • Documentation of business development opportunities throughout the life-cycle
  • Support with general administrative duties.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Degree qualified in business studies, marketing, or similar
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient user of Adobe Suite, MS Office Suite, and experience managing databases
  • Understanding of industry-specific processes and terminology
  • An interest in the architecture or interior design sector would be advantageous.
