We are looking for a motivated and experienced OEM Business Development Manager to drive sales and profitability within specific market channels. This role will focus on managing strategic OEM accounts and promoting a range of products tailored to OEM needs, helping to position the company as a market leader.

OEM Account & Market Management

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer base, including machine tool builders, industrial equipment manufacturers, hazardous OEMs, distributors, installers, and other key influencers within target markets.
  • Manage and grow key strategic OEM accounts, focusing on vertical markets and key projects as directed by your manager.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of trends.
  • Take ownership of the full sales process, from initial inquiry to order placement, ensuring the company is seen as a trusted partner.

Sales Strategy & Relationship Building

  • Utilise your industry knowledge to craft tailored sales strategies for different applications, installations, and customer types.
  • Foster strong relationships with key personnel within customer organisations, both domestically and internationally when needed.
  • Ensure alignment with the company's pricing and discount structure while maximising sales opportunities.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Technical, and Commercial departments to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies, new products, market opportunities, and marketing campaigns.
  • Keep the external sales team informed of key developments and customer feedback relevant to their accounts.
  • Provide regular reports on activities, successes, and market requirements to help meet company goals.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in Salesforce, including pipeline, quotations, and activity tracking.
  • Participate in exhibitions, events, and other industry-related activities as needed.
  • Follow company procedures for all administrative tasks and contribute to ongoing team efforts.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related role within OEM markets.
  • Strong product and industry knowledge in OEM applications is essential.
  • Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and driving sales growth in industrial markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally as required.
