The role:

This is a key role responsible for ensuring Pharmanovia is a highly automated, operationally efficient organisation. You will direct Pharmanovia's teams and external consultants to design, implement, test & document end-to-end solutions that will integrate our systems, along a clear improvement/delivery roadmap spanning 3-to-5-years.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the broader digital team to ensure SAP system is aligned and integrated with Pharmanovia's digital strategy
  • Ensure continuous process improvements in Pharmanovia and that automation is resulting in more automation, lower costs, reduced inventory and more accurate reporting
  • Support the ongoing incremental changes, configuration, monitoring & improvement lifecycle of our SAP S4 HANA ERP platform
  • Assess the existing SAP and non-SAP system integrations and provide recommendations for system enhancements, upgrades, or replacements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead yearly planning of demand for SAP enhancements
  • Work with other members of Pharmanovia to create scoping requirements and functional requirements for new SAP change requests
  • Critically challenge business requests for additional features to be built in SAP
  • Coordination of internal and external resources to deliver the SAP implementation
  • Identify unused capabilities and provide recommendations to streamline and improve Pharmanovia's use of SAP and related products.
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives across digital platforms and finance function - maximising effective use of capabilities in existing systems
  • Address day to day SAP queries from the business, providing users with training and best practice.
  • Champion an agile mind-set through all work
  • Ensure other systems that receive SAP data are integrated well - such as Power BI Reporting, CRM HR and IT Infrastructure
  • Oversee the definition and documentation of SAP and related systems, including system components, interfaces, data flows, and integration points between SAP and non-SAP systems

What we are looking for:

The position requires a skilled programme manager with outstanding relationship building skills, the ability to quickly engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the business and deliver a programme that will meet current and future requirements.

You'll also need:

  • Proven experience working within, or leading a Centre of Excellence
  • Exposure to transformation process and business change initiatives
  • 3rd party vendor management experience
  • Process improvement and change management skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP, its components and ecosystem
  • Previous experience of lifecycle management in SAP ERP S4 Hana and integrations is preferred
  • ICDL (ECDL) fundamentals or equivalent
  • PRINCE2 Agile and/or Waterfall Project Management or equivalent is preferred
  • SAP Configuration/Customisation
  • Software Programming/Development
  • Change/Project Lifecycle (both Waterfall and Agile)
  • Project management tools
  • SAP GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)
  • Experience in conducting system analysis, requirement gathering, and process mapping.
  • Familiarity with SAP development tools, including ABAP, SAP Query, or SAP Business Warehouse (BW)
  • Knowledge of CRM Systems, Gantt Chart Creation and Maintenance, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc)
