Location: Flexible from either Basingstoke or Loughton with hybrid/agile working available
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Job Responsibilities
In this Business Systems Analyst role, you'll support the completion and resolution of requests and incidents. With a continued pipeline of change, upgrades and integration, a key part of the role will be to
- Participate in workshops supporting the development of business requirements and design
- Taking the lead on the development of test scripts
- Carryout testing: drive and support the completion of user acceptance testing
- Manage and progress defects through to resolution
- Support all mobilisation, demobilisation, and service transition related activities
- Liaising with internal & external stakeholders for the development, planning, and execution of UAT scripts; and support with communications issued for all changes
The role is critical to delivering our business systems strategy and supporting the day-to-day operations and providing expertise to the business. You will drive quality and excellent customer service, ensure all tickets are handled efficiently and effectively within agreed SLA's.
Who are we looking for?
- Operating infrastructure - familiar with general IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks etc.)
- Knowledge and previous use of CAFM / IWMS systems like Concept Evolution & FSI Go
- Data manipulation skills using Excel and SQL
- Analytical thinking - acquiring understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts and identifying the relationships between these parts
- Information acquisition - well developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities in identifying gaps in the available information required to understand a problem or situation and devising means of remedying such gaps
- Experience of providing a professional application support service within an ITIL environment
- Experience of recording and solving application support issues from customers, prioritising requests, implementing, and communicating timely solutions, both in database and web environments.
- Previous experience of Azure DevOps would be beneficial
