Basic circa £50,000 + Car Allowance, Pension and Benefits
Wisbech, Uppingham, Sawtry, March, Peterborough, Spalding,

  • Have you negotiated and managed Transport Tenders?
  • Have you specialised in procurement and supply chain management?
  • Have you Capex Procurement experience?

Your role will be working for a UK business that is a market leader within the construction sector. You will be supporting the business in its endeavours to deliver equipment to site on time, safely and as cost effective as possible.

As the business is diverse from delivering one site-based accommodation unit through to a large number of modules making up a large building you will need to be able to understand the complexities of the business quickly. It will be vital that you can develop excellent relationships with the Material Management team assisting sites with any supply chain related issues.

Whilst you will work out of a head office in Eastern England you will be working for a business that has multi sites around the UK.

About You

A track record in transport related tenders and the associated supply chain. If you have Capex based procurement experience this will make you a strong candidate for the position. Experience gained in a senior buying role within Construction, manufacturing or engineering where transport has been a focus is essential.
