Danetti are looking for an energetic person with a can-do attitude to assist the team with all product detail and admin related tasks. As a Buyers Assistant, you will play an essential role within a team that is critical to the smooth running of the business. Strong administration supports every aspect of the team, so this is a real opportunity to make a great contribution and see positive results from your work.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the Buyer, working on developing contemporary furniture and related home products from initial concept through to purchase.
  • Liaising with suppliers in the Far East and Europe to obtain quotations, cross costing exercises and general information.
  • Product set up, support, and maintenance, ensuring information is accurate
  • Creating and updating product information and costing documents as required.
  • Support the buying team in the delivery of samples for review meetings, seasonal shoots, and ongoing sample inventory.
  • Assist with pulling together design briefs to send to suppliers for NPD (New Product Development).
  • Communication with our China office and directly with suppliers to follow up on product development and updates.
  • Support buyer with invoicing queries and pricing issues
  • Internal communications support for CS, Marketing, Online & Showroom
  • Assist and support the buyer with online information, check and update the online team of any errors
  • Competitor shop support and any relevant data support required for range building and product development
  • Supplier T&C's information maintenance - ensure supplier information is correct.
  • Support of our QC Technical team in resolving Customer Service or product issues.

  • Strong administrative background.
  • You'll understand the challenges of working in a small, but rapidly growing company environment.
  • Previous experience in a buying office is an advantage but not essential.
  • Degree level qualification or related work experience.
