Job Title: Cable Recorder
Location: Lutterworth
Business Area: Kier Utilities- Western Power Distribution
Contract/ Hours: Permanent- Full Time

Kier work as part of a framework for Western Power Distribution to ensure its customers have power in their homes, businesses, schools and hospitals. We are an essential member of the team mainly working on reactive and planned maintenance in Exeter, Bristol and down to Cornwall.

We are looking for a Cable Recorder to join our Lutterworth team to support in the recording of cables being laid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in and improve new and existing systems to aid the effective transfer of data to the client
  • Support in giving advice on technical issues and about the recording of cables being laid
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking tasks and ensure each depot's internal KPI data is completed within certain time frames
What do we need from you?

  • Hold a CSCS card and Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good understanding of the importance of Health & Safety
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word and Outlook
