Business area: Kier Utilities- Telecoms?- Openreach

Contract: Full-time.

Salary: Up to £175 per day + overtime (pending experience), company vehicle, benefits and career opportunities

We have an exciting opportunity for Cablers/Cabling Team to join our Telecoms team in Falkirk, Scotland to carry out rod and rope and cabling duties on the Openreach network for Project Falcon. Both overhead and Underground experience are essential on the Openreach network. Push and dig experience is desirable when carrying out spine works and we are also looking for PON build teams.

The works will predominantly be on our Falcon contract, which is a major contract involving a full network build from Exchange Head End to the feeding equipment outside the customers property. We work in partnership with Openreach to build the network that allows the most efficient delivery of services to the customer.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cabler you will be responsible for carrying out all test rod and roping, cabling, producing A55's, carrying out risk assessments, and ensure all works are carried out with full regard for health and safety.

To be successful in the role you will hold a full driving licence have previous cabling experience along with strong knowledge of Health & Safety NRSWA requirements.
