We are currently looking for an experienced CAD Manager to work in our Romford office.

Responsible for management of a team of 6 CAD Technicians to deliver high quality coordinated design information on multiple projects of a complex nature, both within the UK and Worldwide, by enforcing Tricon's CAD standards (AutoCAD and Revit).

Requirements:

  • Must have an in-depth working knowledge of current AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Foodservice Industry experience - ideal
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Managing tight deadlines
  • Demonstrable people management skills of managing and developing a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and have a dynamic approach to daily tasks

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise and manage work plans of the CAD team
  • Provide guidance and direction to CAD team to ensure operational & technical excellence
  • Chair the department's CAD & Revit/BIM committee
  • Assist in recruitment, training and supervision of CAD technicians in core application, skills and standards.
  • Assist with the evaluation of CAD using team members of their technical skills, performance and productivity and make recommendations for training and development.
  • Identify opportunities and recommendations for increasing workflow efficiencies.
  • Develop, implement and monitor CAD design standards and procedures to meet client/project team needs.
  • Assist as required on project work - modelling and detailing and project setup
  • Help resolve BIM design issues
