Position: Carbon Engineer

Location: Dublin

Salary: Very Competitive Salary and Package on Offer.

Our client, a leading Construction Company, is now looking to recruit an experienced Carbon Engineer to join their growing team.

This role will involve travel so a full, clean drivers' licence is required.

This role will report to the Carbon Manager and will play a key role in the HSSQ Team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promoting?the?company's Sustainability Strategy.
  • Assisting in the development of client Life Cycle Carbon Assessments.
  • Educating and helping others within the company to play their part in achieving the objectives set out.
  • Assisting in the development and implementing Carbon Management procedures and identifying carbon reduction opportunities.
  • Attend sites as required to review Carbon Management practices and supporting the project teams on the carbon performance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hold a third level qualification in Engineering, Sustainability, or the equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Carbon Engineer position with experience in implementing carbon management systems and standards.
  • Have a strong understanding of carbon governance and accounting processes with experience gathering data and creating reports on a project basis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MUST hold a valid Irish/UK drivers' licence as travel is required for this role.
