My client requires a Caretaker to start ASAP in a School in Gateshead

This is a temporary contract, starting ASAP and going on until at least the Christmas break with potential to be extended.

Willing to be flexible with shifts. We are ideally looking for someone who can work split shifts to open and close site or someone who can work mornings 7-11am.

Enhanced DBS is essential (or must be willing to get one)

  • Monday to Friday
  • Possibly required to open up and close site
  • Daily Split Shifts - 6.30am - 9am & 3.00pm - 6.30pm (30 approx hours per week)
  • OR Part time 7-11am

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cleaning duties
  • Compliance Tests
  • Site Maintenance
  • Opening & Closing site
  • Room set ups
  • Taking in deliveries
  • Fire Alarm checks

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in carrying out general maintenance work
  • Basic DIY skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Computer Skills
