Protocol are delighted to invite an enthusiastic and skilled Carpentry and Joinery Assessor to assess Joinery and Carpentry in a community setting at Wigan and Leigh College.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about Carpentry and Joinery and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Carpentry/Joinery, experience of teaching, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners. Courses are given with the purpose of helping young people in to employment and improving their abilities.
This role is offering full time hours and will run on a permanent basis.
The role responsibilities
Assessing Carpentry and Joinery qualifications at Levels 2-3
Carry out workplace assessments
progress reviews, including setting SMART Targets and action plans for apprentices
The person & qualifications
Level 3 or higher qualification in Carpentry and Joinery
Assessing qualification or assessing experience
Up to date industry knowledge
