We are working with a large Further Education College based in Lancashire to recruit within their Construction department.
All feedback from staff working at the college is continually positive and have been given clear and concise instructions from their first day on campus. The College delivers education, training, employment and work-based learning solutions to thousands of organisations and learners. The focus is on meeting national and regional education, skills and employability needs for individuals and employers in the area.
We are currently looking to recruit a Carpentry & Joinery Assessor on a permanent, full time basis. The successful candidate will be part of the team, training and assessing both practical and theory requirements of the curriculum.
Role responsibilities
To assess Carpentry & Joinery
ensure all preparation and training sessions comply with college quality systems and qualification guidelines
Assist in the recruitment, selection, interviewing, induction and enrolment of candidates
Undertake on-site assessments when required
The person & qualifications
A minimum level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery
Hold an assessing qualilfication
Previous assessing experience
