We are looking to recruit a Plumbing Technician, you will be expected to provide support to the lecturers and students within Carpentry & Joinery
Role responsibilities
*To provide support in the workshop and classrooms in a way that supports the lecturing staff, enabling students to gain good practical skills.
*To ensure the practical workshop and classrooms are kept clean, organised and are safe working environments for staff and students.
*To set up specialist machines and equipment in the workshop and classrooms.
*To ensure all tools, equipment and machinery are safe to use and staff and students follow safe working practices.
The person & qualifications
*Must have previous construction experience
*Must have a valid DBS on the Update Service.
*Must hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Plumbing.
*A good general standard of education including Maths and English Grade A*-C (or equivalent) or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
