We at Protocol are working with ad established at Ofsted graded GOOD college in the Essex area. This particular college offers both vocational and professional courses to students across the Essex vicinity. Boasting a newly refurbished and developed subject specialist college block and state of the art facilities this establishment offers the best tools and materials to all young professionals embarking on their various academic adventures.
We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Lecturer to deliver cover for one week in October Monday - Friday; the post holder will be required to teach on Carpentry courses up to and inclusive of level 3.
Role responsibilities
Full delivery of the allocated courses
Adhere to all college policy including Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding
Diagnoses learners' needs and identifies potential barriers to learning
Maintains appropriate files and records
Takes responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
The person & qualifications
Minimum level 3 qualified in Carpentry
Hold a teaching qualification (desirable)
Excellent Teacher competence in relevant discipline
Must hold both English and Maths qualification equivalent to GCSE C or above or 4+ / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Adult Numeracy or Literacy = Level 2
Have good communication skills
Have good organisational skills
