Aggregate Industries has opened a new ready mix concrete plant in Coleshill, Warwickshire.

The contractor on the Dawlish sea wall reconstruction project in south Devon reckons to be saving 1,130 tonnes of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere by using ground granulated blast furnace slag as a cement substitute.
