Design tolerates feed characteristics high in organics, dissolved oil, and turbidity. In addition to maximizing recovery, process minimizes volume of concentrate to treated in thermal-based ZLD with brine concentrator and/or crystallizer. In some applications, this membrane process achieves >98% recovery.
