LEGACY Supply Chain Services signed on at Champion Sponsor level to support Warehousing Education and Research Council’s (WERC) 39th Annual Conference for Logistics Professionals. At this year’s event, scheduled to take place in Providence, RI from May 15–18, LEGACY will unveil “Vets to WERC.” This new program promotes hiring veterans into supply chain industry. Applications are being accepted for the Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators. EPA, in partnership with White House Council on Environmental Quality, administers this award to honor, support, and encourage K-12 educators who incorporate environmental education in their classrooms and teaching methods. Up to 2 teachers from each of EPA’s 10 regions, from different states, will be selected to receive this award. Applications are due May 16, 2016.
