In his statement regarding introduction of FDA and NIH Workforce Authorities Modernization Act by Senators Alexander and Murray, BIO President and CEO Jim Greenwood said provided common sense hiring authorities and tools therein would help FDA “recruit, hire and retain world-class scientific and technical experts.” He called improvements in HR management and capability “essential” and thanked Senators Alexander and Murray for their leadership and introducing this legislation.
