Protocol are proud to be recruiting for an upstanding Training Provider who specialise in the Nuclear Engineering sector. Due to growth, our client are looking for a Centre Manager. Located in Workington, this is a fantastic opportunity for any looking for a new challenge.
The Role:
The role of the Centre Manager is to manage the delivery of apprenticeships & commercial training in the Head Office.
The role will also include the progressive development of the Engineering curriculum and the material associated with its delivery.
The role may also include other tasks as directed by the Head of Operations. The development of engineering course delivery material and ensuring compliance with awarding body standards.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Manage the curriculum of Head Office including scheduling Apprentice training delivery, commercial delivery, Access Programmes.
Manage the Health & safety of the centre.
Assist in the overall development of the training centre.
Prepare and assist in internal and external audits.
Assist in developing and maintaining the current engineering course material including lesson plans and schemes of work for a range of courses.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Has experience of delivering and developing Engineering courses
An understanding of the Apprenticeship Framework & Standards and the funding process
Knowledge of alternative teaching/learning options
An intermediate level of understanding of MS office applications
Has experience of Training Needs Analysis and Programme Design
