If you are a commercially astute Finance Director / CFO with a track record of success gained in an international renewable energy business then we want to hear from you. This is an ideal role for candidates with exceptional skills in stakeholder management, commercial projects, proposals, strategies, negotiation and corporate finance who will enjoy being part of a dynamic, high growth business.

Bridgelink Europe is a leading developer and investor across renewable energy assets in Europe. We are part of the US Bridgelink Group, a development, full-service engineering, procurement, and construction company that specializes in building solar, wind, and battery storage projects capable of generating and storing clean and dispatchable renewable energy.

Over the past 18 months we have grown significantly both in assets and headcount. As a result of this growth we are looking for a new CFO to join our team. Initially we anticipate the requirement will be 2 days per week but as the business grows the role will expand accordingly.

Reporting directly into the Managing Director you will be part of a robust senior leadership team. The role is an all-encompassing finance leader position where you will be at the forefront of both strategic and operational management within an exciting and expanding business.

Responsibilities include;

  • Oversight and accountability for quality and timely delivery of all core accounting and finance services across the UK and Europe
  • Leading the strategic finance planning for the highest priority deliverables and finance transformation projects to align with broader strategic plan
  • Leading the strategic direction within finance function such as; headcount, systems strategy and operating models
  • Playing a key role within the senior leadership team by driving general direction, periodic review of key initiatives, results, budgets and global expansion
  • Management of key stakeholders within the business (Board of Directors, heads of departments) and externally including clients

What we are looking for;

  • A fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant
  • Experience of a leadership role, working at an operational and strategic level
  • Experience working at a global scale, with experience of supporting both UK and European entities is essential
  • Responsive in an evolving, growing and fast paced environment
  • A great team player in a "roll your sleeves up" collaborative start-up/fast growth environment
  • Extensive experience preferably within a similar industry, renewable energy sector or financial sector
  • A demonstrable interest in renewables
