Working for a consultancy leading a change programme within a Utilities provider. Focused on Digital / Technology-focused projects, delivering change and process improvements.

Location: - Home based - 2/3 days per week, Client offices - 2/3 days per week

(You have to be flexible to be on the client's site for workshops, meetings, training etc.. as required)

Head office: Coventry (Projects could be nationwide)

Salary: - £65,000 - £75,000 basic + Package

Role Description

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a leading Consultancy within the utility sector that focuses on digital change and technology upgrade implementation. We are looking for an experienced business change expert to drive effective and sustainable business change management. This is a business-facing role that will require you to proactively manage relationships and build partnerships to navigate challenging conversations within a wide stakeholder base.

This is a great opportunity to get involved in a growing Business Change capability and design it to challenge performance, behaviours, and use of systems to create real value for customers.

The day-to-day duties will vary depending on the project you are working on but could include:

  • Create effective rollout plans.
  • Actively facilitate discussion groups and workshops with customers.
  • Work closely with project team members to ensure that project deliverables efficiently contribute to the development of the business change programme.
  • Support the design and delivery of training programs to embed new ways of working, processes, and initiatives.
  • Develop the vision and case for change, ensuring alignment with the project business case to deliver the benefits.
  • Understand the client change landscape and culture (including any longer-term considerations), and develop the appropriate business change, communication and engagement strategy to complement it.
  • Design, own and drive the business change plan for the assigned project(s).

This role is working on a hybrid basis. Working from home when managing your change team on the project, then client-based working as required by the client but this tends to be at least 2 days a week. Flexibility is key as you could be based anywhere in the UK as long as you are willing to travel and lodge away if required once or twice a week.

Working in the Utilities sector Ideally, you need to come from a similar background, be it Water, Gas, Power provider or from a consultancy background operating within change.

Your background: -

  • Proven experience of delivering a change programme from start to finish. Being involved from a hands-on approach as the projects will vary and you may need to be hands-on with creating documentation with the client.
  • Able to analyse and create robust "Go Live Plans" translating the stakeholder requirements and expectations to a process map to undertake the Digital change programme.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree qualified or MBA again would be ideal due to the levels you will be operating at.
  • Proven Change Management experience, smaller projects from £100k to £5m are ideal as these are not global change programmes.
  • Utilities experience - Water, Gas, Power be it provider or Consultancy.
